Schools Mindfulness Facilitator (SMF) | 126 hours

Certification Programme P600

The Schools Mindfulness Facilitator (SMF) program equips professionals with the skills to instruct 7 to 18-year-olds in mindfulness techniques within schools or other child and youth-focused educational settings. This 126 hours programme aligns with the standards set by the International Mindfulness Teachers Association (IMTA) and provides both theoretical and practical training in teaching mindfulness.

Who is this for?

This programme is ideal for educators, coaches, trainers, and mental health professionals seeking to enhance their personal practice and teaching skills in teaching mindfulness to students.

This certification is intended exclusively for use in professional teaching and training practice. It does not qualify you to lead 8-week mindfulness courses or any other mindfulness-based programs. If you are interested in conducting 8-week mindfulness courses, please enrol in our Mindfulness Teacher Training course.

Participants in the course will learn mindfulness methodologies, with chances to explore the teaching methods for sessions and the most effective ways to present them to groups of young people in various environments. Additionally, there will be opportunities for participants to collaborate, both leading and being led by their peers, in the core mindfulness exercises covered in the lessons.

**Becoming a CSMF is not an authorisation to train others in delivering the curriculum or to distribute the teaching materials to others. If a school or another organization is sponsoring your participation in this course, it is advisable to communicate this information to them before enrolling for this course.
