Dr Richard Lim, PsyD USA, is the Senior Consultant Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor. He is a Senior Mental Health Consultant in Singapore and has worked extensively in the region and beyond. He has been working with clients with difficult anxiety, depression and other concerns following varying degrees of trauma for many years.

 

Dr Lim’s speciality in psychotherapy and counselling is the focus on relationship, wellbeing and repair. He has worked for more than 22 years with families, couples and singles in enhancing communication, emotional intimacy and sexual wellness.

 

He uses relational psychodynamic approaches with mindfulness based cognitive behavioural approaches and somatic experiencing in the work with clients. He also provides sex coaching and sex therapy-informed relationship counselling with an emphasis in overcoming barriers and inhibitions to effect authentic wellness in intimate relationships and self-care.

Dr Lim is a Clinical Supervisor with the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC) and has been guiding and training mental health professionals for many years. His specialty in professional supervision and education is in intersubjectivity and relational psychotherapy work.
